A holiday baker’s gift guide packed with stocking stuffers, baking essentials, and splurge-worthy show-stoppers for all the baking enthusiasts in your life – including the littlest ones.
The holidays are here! Can you believe it? 2020 has felt like both the longest year of my life and also somewhat of a super fast blur. Anyone else? So while Christmas quickly approaching means decorating the house and burning the best smelling candles, watching Christmas movies, snuggling with your favorite blanket while sipping some hot cocoa, and just all the cozy holiday feels, it also means figuring out the perfect gift everyone on your list.
And that, my friend, can be stressful. Lucky for you, I compiled several holiday gift guides this season to help you do just that. First up is this one – The 2020 Baker’s Gift Guide – for the Martha Stewarts in your life. I’ve broken it down into sections based on price and category to make it easier to navigate and included a section for the little bakers as well. Stocking Stuffers
Everybody loves a good stocking stuffer, and I’ve rounded up some good ones. These gift ideas would be great for white elephant gifts, Secret Santas, work gift exchanges, or as extras tied onto a bigger package. Just cutie pie little gifts that will put a smile on everyone’s face and won’t break the bank.
Vanilla & Other Flavorings
These are three absolute staples in my kitchen. It’s always good to have a stockpile of vanilla and other flavorings. The vanilla bean flecks in the paste really take things like buttercream and sugar cookies to the next level! And Lorann oils and bakery emulsions are one of my secret weapons. I use the Buttery Sweet Dough Emulsion in all of my sugar cookies.
Sprinkles & Mix Ins
I always have a stockpile of mix ins for cookies, brownies, cake batter, etc. And my top three are hands down: chocolate, caramels, and toffee. And an arsenal of sprinkles never hurt anybody. Sweetapolia is my go-to for the prettiest sprinkle blends and they have LOADS of holiday options and gift sets.
Kitchen Tools & Gadgets
Small kitchen tools and gadgets that make a big impact on the functionality and style of your kitchen. The biscuit cutters are a must have that I use for much more than just cutting biscuits- like making royal icing cookies and doing the cookie scoot for the perfectly round chocolate chip cookie.
Mid-Range Must-Haves
Kitchen essentials for bakers that are stylish, practical, and will stand the test of time, while not being TOTAL splurges. These will make great gifts for best friends, sisters, mamas, or yourself, cause let’s be honest we all deserve these. And how freakin’ cute is that Bake & Take Pie Box!?
Timeless Picks
These are staples for any home cook. Things that you’ll reach for again and again. And how freakin’ cute is that Bake & Take Pie Box!?
Holiday Themed
Pulling out my holiday kitchen stuff always makes me so happy. It’s something my mom used to do too, and I can still picture the mug she sat out for Santa every Christmas Eve. These options are sure to be welcome additions to anyones holiday collection. Those grinch spatulas really have my heart.
Cookbooks
Cookbook collecting has become an obsession for me. I love perusing the pages, making recipes from my favorite bakers, and getting inspired to make my own twists on their recipes
Swoon-Worthy Splurges
The gifts you’ve been dreaming about, wanting to buy but not wanting to spend the money. The ones that have sat on your wishlist forever. And for surviving this crazy year and all it’s twists and turns, it’s time to treat yo self! Or ya know, treat your loved ones!
Everything from a new Kitchenaid Mixer in the prettiest deep green, to a monthly macaron subscription box from Dana’s Bakery. These gifts are sure to impress and have your loved ones feeling extra special this holiday season. And don’t even get me started on that matte black mixing bowl. I’m obsessed.
For Little Bakers
This 2020 baker’s gift guide wouldn’t be complete without including the munchkins. Having my kids bake with me in the kitchen is one of my all time favorite things to do around the holidays and really all year long. These little gifts are sure to make them feel special and give them a little confidence boost and ownership in the kitchen.
