Who doesn’t love coffee and donuts? Such a classic duo. And how can we make it even better? Yeah, exactly, spike it with a little vodka and then top it with a little dalgona foam. And now we have a perfect and delicious coffee and donuts martini. You’re gonna love it.
This recipe is super easy and delicious. It will make 2 coffee martinis, but can easily be doubled! Highground Instant Coffee makes this recipe even quicker to whip up – no waiting on your drip coffee maker to brew a pot. Let’s get to it!
How to Make Coffee and Donuts Martini
Start by making the vanilla syrup. Add all ingredients to a small sauce pan and heat over medium until it reaches a simmer and the sugar is dissolved. Let cool, then store in the fridge for up to a month. You can use the syrup in your morning coffee or lattes, other cocktail recipes, or even whipped into homemade whipped cream.
Next, make the dalgona foam. In a medium sized bowl, whisk 1/4 C Highground Instant Coffee grounds, 2 TBSP water, and 2 TSBP granulated sugar. Continue to whisk until the mixture thickens into a foam. Set aside.
In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, coffee liqueur, vanilla syrup, and highground coffee. Shake with ice and then strain into martini or coupe glasses. Top with dalgona foam and serve. Adding a donut hole makes a cute and delicious garnish. You can find my recipe for easy buttermilk donut holes, here. Just make sure to make extra, cause those babies go fast.Print
